Macro in the garden
I took some macro photos in the back garden
using my 60mm macro lens
All the photos where handheld
The ambient light was quite poor
I noticed the reflection of the plants leafs in the water drop
so changed the angle to get more of the reflection of the red leafs
I used 1 metering point and focused onto the
water drop

I'm quite happy with the photos i could off improved the shots by taking them on a day with better light then i could of used a lower ISO .I could not really use a Tripod because the plant was on a rockery . I enjoy taking photos of water with the reflections and constant changing of size it makes a good subject to shoot .
Hi simon
ReplyDeletetruly brilliant macro work with the internal reflections in the drips.
You need to just expand your research as technically you have excellent images.
Can you put a blog about your kit and lens with pics of them off the internet to show me the gear you use.

Hi Simon,
ReplyDeleteHave you thought of inverting the macro images as regards the way the image can be read. They may be worth looking at in another way to add the a more abstract way they are shown.
Can you see me about your labels as they need to be added to your blog entries to keep track of where you are so you can track them.
